3/16/26 Due to technical complications from the storm, we will need to cancel reservations for today. We’re so sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. Mala Ocean Tavern highly encourages reservations, yet walk-ins are welcome.
We are a cozy boutique restaurant. Beautiful vistas are guaranteed, waterside tables are not. Island Smart Casual Attire.
All available tables can be reserved above through the OpenTable App.
Mala is an intimate, boutique oceanfront restaurant. Due to our limited layout, we are unable to accommodate dinner reservations for parties larger than eight guests.
Parties larger than eight may be accommodated through a private buyout of one of our event spaces:
• The Ocean Room (up to 14 guests)
• The Lanai (up to 30 guests)
• Full restaurant buyouts are also available

Larger groups are also welcome to join us for brunch or happy hour, when we have greater seating flexibility.
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy.

Mala Restaurant Parking is available in the lot next to our restaurant, at Safeway, or you can park at our sister restaurant Coco Deck across the street.
Do NOT park in residential areas along Front Street. Parking in a residential area will result in immediate Towing.
Please Kokua and do not drive or park in the residential areas.
